For over 25 years, the New Beginnings Boutique & Gift Shop, located on the first floor of the Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women & Newborns, has proudly served as a collection center for breastmilk donations in partnership with the Mother Milk Bank. The New Beginnings Boutique is a unique community resource staffed by certified lactation educators 7 days a week to help with breastfeeding questions or challenges. Home to a Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), we recognizing the vital role breastmilk plays in the health and development of newborns, especially preterm babies in the NICU. Through collective generosity, we aim to improve infant health outcomes and support our community needs.
